Zeovit Sponge Power, now I'm a believer

After using Zeo for 3 weeks now my polyp extension is crazy. Never seen anything like it. The only thing that I didn't like is that the aminos contain some Nitrate so I saw my numbers go up a bit. No problem, stopped dosing until trates are under 2 ppm. Everything else is working great.

Keep in mind, in terms of nitrates, that this is also designed to run in a ridiculously ULN tank running zeolite. In that case, the sponges and bacteria could use a little extra nitrate.

After running Zeo (no rocks, just vodka/vinegar dosing) my Nitrate and Phos fell to zero on red sea pro and Hanna Checker test kits. I've since started dosing the zeo routine daily and my SPS frags and colonies have never looked better, crazy polyp extension from frags I've never seen polyps on, etc. Colors are becoming a bit more pastel as well. That being said, my LPS don't look bad, but not great, they're not as plump but the colors are all fine. I've since been dosing Potassium Nitrate to get my nitrates up to 1-2 ppm, it will show up in the am, but by lights out, all of the nitrate is gone. I've cut my carbon dose a little at a time as not to shock my system and all in all, I'm 100% sold on the Zeo products (Sponge Power, Amino Acid, Coral Vitalizer being the main 3 I'd recommend to anyone) Pohls Extra Special, K Balance, B Balance, Potassium Flouride Iodine I dose 1-2 x's per week and don't see any harm, but no real benefit, other than the Pohls Extra Special bringing the true SPS colors out, etc.

In my opinion, you don't need to run the zeo rocks if you already carbon dose. It's expensive, but I'm still on my 1st bottles of additives and my tanks is running rock solid ALK and CAl and I don't dose anything for them. That has nothing to do with Zeo, but since going ULNS I switched salt to Brightwell to maintain ALK under 9 and everything seems to be doing great.
