Zeovit

As long as you take it slow and dont go to fast you will be ok. What type of salt are you using? Your parameters need to get dialed in also.

Im using TMP pro. The para are right on to where it need to be with zeo. Your alk needs to be 7 to 8 and cal around 400 to 420.

Does it matter if the tank is just getting started or if it's a stable system setup for a while?

yeah just do the first 4 for know then later on you can try the coral vital amino acids or sponge power, pohls xtra, etc. for the power of control of colors over your sps.
best advice go slooowwww serious the products are very high concentrated. in a nutshell
zeovit is a bacterial nutrient reduction system along with a slew of additives/trace elements to tweak colors. been rocking the stones since 03 here. I'm still using the same bottle of start2 20 fish in a 120 fed heavily and nice bright sps what more could you ask for?. imo ime to each is own please don't hate it's just a method I have found that works for me. and yes it's not the only way.

I'm going to try zeovit with my new 120 sps....I've been reading up on zeovit.com. They say not to use a Kalkreactor...not sure why but how would you be able to keep Alk steady without one?.....advice?

Or two part dosing works fine.

Yeah I guess you can dose a 2 part but there is way more room for fluctuation/error. I dosed b ionic every day for 5 years because I was scared of a ca. rxtr. Then I got one (ca. rxtr) and went why on earth did I do that for 5 years!. The Zeovit guide recommends a ca. rxtr. with the addition of a mag supp,. but my mag seems to do fine with the gen x media.

I plan to use a calcium reactor...could i also use a kalk...reactor for topoff thru the night or no?

for some reason they say not to use kalk as they believe it will bind the p04's something about hindering the zeo process. It's recommended not to use kalk in the zeo guide.
