Salt Creep
Hello. I got a frag of the aftermath war coral from you at the C-SEA swap. It has lost a lot of the red color. I had it about 3" off the sand and in open light. I have since moved it under a overhang. It has full polyp extension almost all day and eats readily. Any suggestions????

thanks,
Bill

My experience is that the war coral likes subdued light to show maximum color. Shading it with the overhang should do it for you.

Larry,

That's what I was hoping. I checked around, but of course found different thoughts on it. I figured I would go straight to the source ;) Like I had stated it just has lost the sharp red color like when I got it from you, other than that it seems to be really healthy. Thanks for the response and coral!!

I just recently moved my War coral lower in my tank I noticed some minor color loss.

Where would you suggest I place the Aussie Prism Favia in a 90 gal under 4 T-5 lights?

Thanks!

My prism frags are doing real well under moderate/lower lighting too. About the same as I keep the war coral.
