Zoa and Paly LED Suggestions 48X15X15 build

Hi all, well the plan is a new tank. Going to be heavy Zoas and Palys, and add with a few LPS, Chalice and a couple of easy SPS. Any suggestions on LED system for a 45G (48X15X15). Looking for more color than growth. Any suggestions or information would help. Thank you.

cree DIY is a good way so u can get the color u want.

DIY is probably a bit cheaper if you have the know-how, too. Let us know how it goes!

Sounds good. Not sure what colors to use and so many different choices out there. Where do I start?

Look for the white and blues. You shouldn't need other colors much.
I believe that what you need to look for is basically lenses and PAR.
Extra features will complete but will be according to your preferences.

I'm waiting for others to come and talk abut their LEDs.
I like to hear from them to learn more.

there are a lot of colors to choose from. maybe whites and blues, but i would also suggest moonlights. they will help keep you zoas open up at night, & if you target feed this will help a lot.

rather than no moonlights, and zoas tend to close up. zoas feed better with light off and at night.

I feed my zoas during the day.
There is a better response at night though, but during the day is fine.
I never needed my moonlight on to feed the zoas at night, when I did.

Just got a kessil 350w today. Going to put it over a 24x24x12 Frag tank and play with it for awhile.

I have an Apollo 8 over my 75 gal tank. You can custom the color of your case, face plate, even the lens. You can get a great price if you contact the distributor directly. If you need info, pm me. Word of advice, if you get one, raise it high! The lights are super strong.
