Zoa color question

I have a number of zoa's that another reefer gave me bc he was having issues with hair algae in his tank. He said he did a partial hydrogen peroxide dip on them to try and remove the algae which caused them to lose a lot of their color. So I have some Blue Agave, Captain America, AOG, Joker, and some others in my tank for over a month and a half now and most have colored up nicely but it seems the Captain America and Blue Agave still have a long ways to go. Is there anything special I should be doing to help them get there color back or just leave them be? Though it has been fun to watch all the zoa's get there color back day by day.

Thanks

Put then in a shaded part of the tank. Why didn't you just put them in your tank, with the right conditions the algae would die.

I actually have a red shoulder tang, yellow tang, and a yellow rabbitfish that took care of the algae prob in a day. The person I got the frags from said he was having a problem keeping fish in his tank.

sometimes raising the mag level for a period of time will kill off the hair algae with out harming the zoos, I had to do it once when all of the tangs and blennys in the world wouldn't solve the problem. That and weekly water changes should keep it from happening again.

The zoas will probably come back to their normal colors after a while.
Just wait.
Their colors could be different than before, after what happened.
The conditions of your tank, including the type of light and water quality, will determinate how different they will become after such shock.

Grandis.

I have two slimline LED lights from Sunbrite. I haven't had any problems with them and have seen some good growth.
Also wanted to ask, are the Blue Agave's a slow grower? They are taking their sweet time to color back up(almost 2 months) and I haven't seen any new grow. To give you an idea of the color I got them at they were very small with a green mouth surrounded by a purplish black color. Now they have grown prob 4x their original size and the red has shown up as well as the white speckling. But it seems like they still have a ways to go. I will try and post a pic.
