zoa disease?

Hi, I just noticed a few polyps on my zoa colony has turned brown. The stalk looks like maybe has some white spots on it. What could it be, and how do I take care of it.

Could be zoa pox.

I couldn't upload any pics, but did take action this morning. Removed the 3 bad polyps and did a hydrogen peroxide dip. See if it works.

I used tank water from my main tank in a bucket instead of the RODI water. Less stress for the Z's and P's. Plus taking water from my main tank is excuse for doing water change.

Thanks for the article. Great read. But I'm not sure that's what it is. The 3 polyps with the spots stayed open fully and lost its color. Turned brownish, but would stay open. Just not sure.

Well I think the hydrogen peroxide dip helped. My zoas are looking great!
