Zoa frag help

So I know these topics are asked fairly often, and I'm fairly certain there is a sticky on it, but I want your opinions. So I got some new zoas recently (circa; 2 days ago) But I really want to frag a piece of it and put it on some of my other rocks. Is it too soon to frag? Should I wait? If so, how long should I wait?
Thank you for your help.

If the frag is healed you should be ok. I usually frag and put stuff on different places on the tank to see where it does better.

Thank you. Its actually a rock a bit bigger than my fist. It has about 50 to 60 polyps on it. I don't know the species, but at the top of the rock they are brown with green tentacles, then farther down they are bright green all the way through, then even farther down they are yellow and green. Thanks for the help.

if its a colony like your saying and they are showing good health and not Stressed you shouldnt have issue fragging it. But personally I' would wait for a couple weeks to allow new incoming polyps regardless of frag/colony size to acclimate to your tank, get healthy and not stressed before doing anything to it.

How would I tell if they are stressed? They don't appear to be stressed. All polyps are open and look healthy. No problems. Very nice colors. No spit coming out of them. All in all very good.

faded colors, bleached, blotching or bleeding of colors, oral disk turning browniish/black, or over all just look like turd. A lot of times you can easily tell that the polyp just doesn't look right.

Thank goodness its easy to tell. Well, my zoas don't look anything like described. They are all bright eyed and bushy tailed. Thank you for the help and information.
