How do you get your zoas to blend together to look like a garden. Everyone has great pics of zoas filling in right next to each other mine seem to stay separated

stability and time. some zoas will also grow faster than others so you just have to pair what works.

Even faster growing corals that are cut into small frags will take time to grow out. Once the few become a colony, then growth will seem much quicker.

the bigger the base the quicker the spread with right conditions. but there is no pecfect blend unless you get zoa's/paly's from same region. meaning species from different regions will have different needs, some come from cleaner low light or high light, or nutrien rich low/high light.

will you run into problems with certain species overtaking others and in turn i guess killing them??

I found a short, wide rock, drilled some holes for plugs, and this is about a year later.
