zoa growth under actinics

i have a prop tank currently i use 6.5 k NO bulbs ( 4 of them)

i saw a thread a while back about using actinics only for zoa growth.. does it work.. will it hurt other soft coral such as ricordia

I doubt anything would grow well with actinic lighting only. Zoas need light in the photosynthetic range, and actinics only put out small amounts of light in that range.
