zoa help

i have 3 small frags of different colored zoas in my 5 gal, the first one that i put in is thriving. as is the third one, the 2nd one however, has not opened. one poly opened the first day i had it, and since then they have been closed. every other coral in the tank is doing well, except this frag. I have an extreme abundance of pods running around (since i have no fish) and i often see the pods running around on the closed up zoas. could this agitate them enough to prevent them from opening? thanks in advance!

yes pods can and will irritate zoas....also not all zoas like the same light or flow. you might try moving it around the tank to some different conditons and see if it get better.

Did you acclimate the Z's properly to your lighting?

650 is correct and the acclimation and parims... and small frags don't have a great success rate. good luck!
