ZOA holding tank?

I want to buy some zoas this weekend but my tank currently has insufficient lighting for the depth of the live rock. ( tank is in process of conversion to reef). Wont have my T5's until the following week. Is it possible to keep them in a ten gallon holding tank with rubble rock heater and powerhead with cheap flourescents? It would only be temporary. Is this possible? I do have tons of shrooms growing in the tank though.

i had zoanthids over some cheap (stock lid type) flourescent tubes, and they survived fine. I had that set up for about a month before I got tired of it and went with a better light . I think you should be OK.

During moving I had a friend keep my zoas in a tank with standard fluorescents for a few weeks. They made the transition fine, and really the transition to PCs at that point were probably about the same as the fluorescents.
