Zoa is trying to reach for light..

ok, i just changed my biocube 29 light from PC to AI SOL blue..

its 14" above from waterline...I set 15 W-20 B-20 BR ..

I noticed that all zoas is trying to reach (stretching) to the light...not enough light ??

Should i crank light up a little bit, like 20 w-20 b-20 br ?

Lighting is one reason, there are other reasons why zoanthids will elongate. Anyone want to take a shot at it?

Yes, zoanthids can/will elongate into actual or perceived current to feed.

I think they will also get longer if there isn't that much flow.

I have MP 10 at 75% TSM

i do feed every other day for all fish and corals

I'd say give it a shot and make a marginal increase and document how much and the results. Forgot to add this in my first reply..sorry
