Hi all,
Ok so I have a colony of Zoas "Gorilla nipples" on a plug. They are located in the middle of the rock, not bottom but not up top. I am using 165W LEDs and it is a 46 Gallon tank. My Leds have a timer so before turning on the full spectrum it turns on the blues. While the blues are on all the polyps seem to open. When full spectrum comes on, some will close as if they don't like it.
Why is it the Zoa like all the blues and not the full spectrum? I thought Full spectrum was better for them. As far as lightning settings I have them at Full spectrum 6 % and blues 15% (since they are 165W can't go full power on them).
Thank you
