Zoa Molting?

Gives Bad Advice.
Ok well I'm not sure of what the problem is with my Zoas but they seem to be shrinking in some areas. I didn't test my water yet as I'm running out the door but I know that my temps have been kinda high(84+degrees) over some periods of the last few days. Some of my zoa's aren't doing this at all and I'm guessing it could be something feeding on them but i'm not sure it's that. Mushrooms and SPS in my tank seem to be doing just fine. The same goes with all the creatures in the tank except for my Coral banded shrimp which seem to be molting more often then they should because of the temps. I'm dealing with the temp problem now and getting canopy fans. What else could be causing this.

System:
90gal AGA
4x96watt 50/50-10k/402actinic.
150 Sealife Skimmer
29gal sump
Mag950 return
2 Maxi-Jet 1200s

Like I said i don't have all my parameters tested yet sicne I don't believe there'a problem in that area but i will when i get back. Could it be temp? Could it be not enough light? I have zoa's in the same place on the other side of the tank that are doing very well. It's just the ones in these pics are struggling completely. Anysuggestions would be appreciated. Ps. the zoa's have no always been like this. -Frank.

I have or had that same problem with my RPEs. Most of them died off for some odd reason, but a little bit of it is coming back slowly. Good luck!

The same thing happened to some of mine a while back, while this thread What's going on with these zoos? was active. We threw around some ideas but never came to a common conclusion. For what it's worth, I had noticed a correlation between dosing kalk the wrong way and this happening to some of my colonies. (In my topoff water but not dripped) The colonies that this happened to were down current from where I added. I have since stopped using kalk as a calcium supplement and this has not reoccurred in my tank.
