Zoa morphed

Ok, I got these from Vu around the beginning of the year. They have really colored up nice, bright orange skirts, crazy cream starburst with a green eye/mouth. Well they have been closed for almost 4 days now, until 2 hrs ago. Now the once green eye is now orange like the skirts. Has anyone had this happen to them? Did the color stay? Kinda crazy, but here's some pics no editing except for the auto adjust.

man, i hope they stay alive for ya, i had a frag i got from the local fish store for 25 and they all melted away after a few weeks

That's pretty cool Bill. At least they morphed for the good and not the ugly! Wouldn't you have been mad if after 4 days of being closed they opened up and were just a big brown blob.. now that would suck. Nice photos btw

I don't think it's a matter of them dying. If anything they are multiplying, almost tripled in a matter of months. I am just curious about the color change from closing up for 1/2 a week.

I have so many different types of stuff in my tank now that I don't look that close to my zoas . The only thing that changed in my tank are the BamBam's, they still look nice. But they no longer have the complete orange face. The starburst have not change in color either. I had some that wouldn't open for 2 weeks. When it did reopen, were a little bleached but no change in color.
