Zoa, Paly, or something else?

Got this from a buddy. He wasn't sure what it was. I'm not expecting a scientific name, but I'd like to know what it is when I frag it someday.

Looks like Palythoa. Feel the outer column of the polyp, is it rough to the touch?

Also, when it opens take another picture. I might be able to narrow it down further.

First guess is Palythos mutuki, but I reserve the right to change that opinion pending an open polyp picture.
