ZOA Pox question

I have colony on Sunday that had some spots on it that seem to have zoa pox. It has spread to 2 other colonies on Monday night. All colonies are still open and look just as they did before the spots. It has not spread to any other colonies as of today. I ordered and received some Furan-2 today. So I am plagued with to treat or not to treat. I guess I figure if they look healthy and it is not spreading there is no reason to treat, but I am no expert on this. So I am looking for advice on when to treat and when not to treat. All polyps except 2 are opened and have been closed since Monday AM. Any advice would be great. Thanks in advance for your advice.

If it is pox then treat, QT affected and treat them. It will spread. Are they Zoa or Paly. Paly are immune, and they do a neat adaption. They will attach sand to their stalks, to strengthen, make stronger, and overall protect themselves. Pictures would help. If they are really tiny specs and its a paly its sand... did u try using a turkey baster and blasting the zoa to see if its sand... a pic always helps.. make sure its pox

I am sure it is zoa pox. I looked on zoaid and saw the pics on here as well. I do have both some zoos and some palys. I know that palys are immune which is good. I was just looking to see if I should treat if the polyps are still open and healthy looking. It seems I should since the Furan-2 does not seem to hurt them. I suppose better to play it safe than sorry. Of course they are my favorite 3 colonies. Isn't that the way it always goes. Thanks
