I'm quite new to this salt water thing, i ran a tropical tank for nearly 8 years so on par with water tests/changes live stock care.

My new tank has cycled well with 40kg of well cured live rock (took about 5 weeks). All readings are zero across the board. I bought a rock frag with a colony of zoas and a few mushies. for 3-4 days they opened and had vivid colours. after that they never opened, now a few have opened but look distressed.

They were bought from a very reputable private seller who cultivates corals in a coral only tank. They were dipped by him and again by me (dettol 0.03ml-1ltr)

LIVE STOCK:
2 turbo snails
2 red scarlet hermit crabs
cleaner shimp
red fire shrimp
cleaner wrasse
bicolour blenny
fire fish
regal tang (1 inch, was added after the problem started)

I'm not currently adding any additives as only have this rock frag, white star polyps and a small frog spawn.

TANK:
aqua one 275
TMC iLuminair 600 (too much light?)
Hydor Korailia x 2 powerheads

The mushies are doing very well but the zoas look bad, i've sat and looked for hours and haven't seen ANY hitchhikers

Thanks in advance
