Ok 1st off this is practically my 1st post outside my local. On that note i am pretty much new to the reefing world. I love the looks of zoanthids and have decided they will occupy the majority of my tank. My tank has been up and running for 4 months now . I have 2 small damsels and some hermits. I am currently combating a diatom outbreak but with the help of the hermits and my freshly changed RO filters and membranes it is beginning to subside. I currently have a 150w MH and 2 bulbs a Hamilton 10k and a Aquamedic 14k. I recently purchased a twin t-5 retro kit (10k and 20k). I have been really contemplating getting another 150/175w MH am i gonna need it? Also i have a Korilla3, Seio 820 and 620 and a mag 7(at 3ft head), You guys think thats enough flow or to much flow? My parameters are PH 8.2, Ammo 0ppm, Nitra 0ppm, Nitri 0ppm,Calcium 380ppm, and i forgot wht my Alkalinity is. My tank is a standard 55 :( ( 1st saltwater dont want to get out of control yet) im running a 10g sump with fuge about 15 lbs of live rock in sump and a softball of cheato.

Any and all comments are welcome. Feel free to critique my setup but dont say i need to upsize my tank because i already have a 75 sitting to my left(empty) and dont have room or$$ to setup another system.

Welcome to the zoanthid forum deluxe! Make yourself at home.
Sounds like your off to a great start.

I think that what you have currently should be more than adequate to keep zoanthids. Even more so with the addition of the T-5s.

I have a few questions: How is your MH suspended above the tank? Is it a pendant, retrofit, etc.? Does the footprint of the light cover the entire tank?
