Zoa?

I think I have 2 Zoa in my 12g nano. One isn't open, I found one hiding behind some hair algae I cleared out, unopened and the other has been there but is really small. (if that is even what they are). I don't have a good camera to post picks but my question is, will they multiply on their own. Both are on opposite sides of a piece of LR and hitchhiked. I couldn't find a thread about it anywhere.

Always cool to find a hitchiker zoa! Wouldnt doubt it if its what ya have- fairly common hiker! Hope its pretty!

I actually got my camera phone out and zoomed in on the big one that I thought that wasn't open, and from the description of other threads I have read it could be just a very young one that wasn't getting any light or much circulation being hidden behind a bunch of algae. Has a nice thick stem on it or what ever you call it. Frag?

Give it some time it will open bought a tank set up years ago and it was not that well taken care of and after 3 months notice some odd looking stubbles turned out to be some green zoas

Looks like a zoa (or paly)- button polyp- commonly called, most likely. Excelent first coral- even w/ very little light!
