Mucho Reef how long will the adults survive without a food source? I am aware that the larvae can survive a few weeks.

Great question, I am working on that now. I can't honestly say, I can guess, but that's not going to help you. Guessing is the last thing I would do when it goes to nudis. I bet a google search would yield that answer from one of the pros.

I'm searching for nudis now at LFS to place in a dedicated 5 gallon system to test a theory.

I just had an outbreak as well...
Saw one on the glass and realized it was probably the reason a colony of purple zoas was closed 99% of the time... Sure enough, with a blacklight, there were a LOT of them...
Dosed FWE at 2x the dose and saw them start floating off the zoas... after about an hour, I blasted every colony with a turkey baster... Did a WC yesterday, Zoas appear to be healing and opening a little more. Going to dose again Sunday, then again next Thursday. Supposedly the eggs take 11 days to hatch.
