After having a large reef tank for years and not being able to keep zoanthids because for my love of having large angels. I've decided to set up a second tank. A zoanthid only tank. I got a hold of a friend of mind's 24 gallon nano. Tank, stand, and a 150w hqi light. Can you guys help me in setting this tank up from filtration, to flow, to feeding, to what cool little fish I should put in.

for a 24 gal, you can use a couple K2'3 or 4's. I have a37 gal which isn't far from that and I'm using 2 MP10s and a Hydor K2 and MJ600 to get the deadspots not hit by the MP10s due to rock formation. With that 150w HQI think about trying the radium 20Ks.

for fish you can have your usual lookers but do get a wrasse like a Yellow Coris as your zoa predator annihilator and or a leopard wrasse. The filtrations for those nano tanks that it comes with is pretty good as is or you can add one of this skimmer to it.

In my 37 I have the following fish, a tiny yellow tang, checker board wrasse, Yellow Coris Wrasse, LawnMower Blenny, Leopard Wrasse, Baghai Cardinal, Pgymy Angel, Royal Gramma , scooter blenny and a Midas Blenny. A lot of fish but I got all of them as TINY fish that all grew together in that tank. I used to have more wrasses but they got to big and have to move/sell them.

Welcome to the zoa forum. Don't think I've seen you here before, so again, welcome.

+1 on what 650-IS350 said. Just go slow and take your time, and good luck.
