zoanthids and sps

some of my zoas are getting close to my sps's. i was wondering if they were going to kill the base of my sps or just go around them. anyone know?? thanks

They often will kill the base and overgrow them.

my acros hold off the zoas and keep them closed where they meet, and the zoas haven't progressed further, though montis' and other submissive corals may be overgrown.

No significant problem. Let them grow..

1 for no problem, 1 for will harm them, and 1 for acros will hold them back but weaker ones will die. any more?? thanks for the input thoughs who commented so far.

they wont' kill them, just maybe crowd the sps out

i have zoos all around my green digi and purple cap - no problems, but they do tend to crowd the encrusting base some, but no issues.

on another note, my pink digi has killed off a really small colony of eagle eyes with it's encrusting base - so maybe it just depends

my is over taking my bird nest. sting my table top.... so i have to frag them n past to others!

No damage but they do stop the base from growing encrusting any further. I have many zoos right up to the bases of my corals and have suffered no losses in 2 yrs from zoos...
