Zoanthid's color?

I just purchased some Bam Bam Orange and Fire & Ice Zoanthid... well they seem a bit dull and look like nothing I've seen on the pictures online. The Bam Bam are right now a light orange with a darkish center? And fire / Ice... well there's no ice detected, the rim (?) of the Zoanthid is orange/reddish like they're supposed to though.

My light is 65W 50 / 50 CP over a 7 gallons with about 6-7 of light per day
Weekly water change
calcium is at 420-440Ppm
SG is 1.024-1.025
Temp is 80-82

The other Zoas I got all look good, it's just these 2 that look a little off.

From the specimens I've seen, the coloration of these two can vary widely. Fire and ice in particular is a "catch all" name that many non-deserving zoas get lumped into. The only thing you can do is provide optimum conditions, plenty of light, and pray to the zoa gods.

I have placed my bam bams on the bottom and also mid level and I think they look brighter the closer they are to the light. My fire and ice are also mid level and they look pretty close to the pics. So just from my experience, I think the closer to the light has brought more color for these 2 types. I have different zoas that are lower and they look great at the bottom of the tank so don't think I'm saying they should all be up high :)

I guess I could be asking if my light is the problem since its a PC? I decided to switch to my T5HO light instead.. Light is now 2 Atcinic 24W each and 1 10000k 24W. for a total of 72W.

Yea, I definately think you'll notice a difference with those lights, but I still believe that placement also plays a role in some zoas. I have MH.

I have T5, my bam bam looked alot better since the the post I think, I see more deep orange now. But Fire and Ice still look a bit weird, should I just move it to mid lvl then?
