I have had zoanthids and button polyps in my tank for around 3 yrs now. the last couple of days they have been almost completely closed up day and night. nothing is on them or touching them during the day or night. water is good. all test were great. I have not done anything differently so any suggestions as to what is going on would be great.
thanks

What are you testing for and with what kind of test kits?

What is your salinity and what are you checking it with?

Hey Tony do you have a pic? I always say if thier not melting or shrinking then your good to go.. did you check the zoa mat for new "nubs" or growth?.. some ZnP's are random they will close when budding or spreading.... I had a ppe closed for almost a month. then reopened. just keep an eye on it

yeah, its just weird. I have had the tank set up for almost 4 yrs and nothing like this is happening and also because different colonies that are spread around my 180 gal are doing it at the same time.

I just recently had some of my favorite pink zoas die for no reason. I had them over a year. One day I noticed I was losing some. They closed up and pretty much all died off. I have like 5 left, but they wont open
