Hi all,
I've posted b4 about this and never got a good answer, so as it is now happening again to another colony, I will post again!
Basically a small patch has fallen off again. I had this happen to another colony, but I think this was a stress factor of some fish nipping at them, now they are in a different tank, with no fish trying to eat them.
I do have a couple of perc's though that have decided to host an area of the rock they are on, but there are no zoanthids there.
They 1st come loose but manage to hang on then, they eventually fall off.
Nothing is eating them.
Is it possible that when they grow to large they become compacted and so have no space and this is their way of spreading naturally?
Any idea's would be great.
Thanks
