Zoanthids need to color up again!

I have 10 or so various zoanthids that lost color in my last tank, probably due to lighting and not so hot water conditions. I've since upgraded everything and am running 250w DE Phoenix bulbs.

I know it depends on the zoanthid, but about how far up should I place them....any general rule? The paly's are really taking off towards the bottom but colors are not what I'd like to see.

What ive found with some of my recent purchases is that if they dont like where they are they wont open up fully. For example most of mine like it med-high in the tank but i have one that just hates it and i have to keep them in the sand bed. They dont open fully when up high. They open but like they are squinting. ;)

Not sure what you have so this may not apply to you.

As for coloring up that im not sure of. Sorry

You should treat zoanthids like you would all other corals when you substantually increase the light.
They need to be acclimated for a reasonable amount of time.
