Zoanthids on back of tank

I have been thinking about trying this on some of my tanks, think it would be nice to have a more natural looking background than just the black glass.

How exactly would this be accomplished? Do you just lean rocks with the zoa's against the glass or would you have to use magnetic frag plugs of some kind?

Just lean a rock against the back of the tank or glue them on the back and le them spread.

very cool. Are tehre particular types of zoas that gorw on back of tanks, or they just need some coraline or whatever to attach to?

I <3 those zoas Fish Crazy, I have them growing in the front corner of my tank. The skirts were really long on them and all of the sudden one day the skirts were really short. Cant figure out what I did.

Usually when this happens it's a result of a difference in flow.
