Zoanthids Touching Devils Finger Leather?

Is it alright for zoos to touch finger leather or xenia?

i recently received a medium sized frag of some zoanthids and was wondering if there would be a chemical war with softies.

Should be no problem. I have most of my zoos touching another coral. Softies or no softies.

I lost a 4 polyp frag of RPE's to my Xenia, I thought I had them far enough away, but the Xenia extended just enough to touch them. When I say the RPE's were closed I moved them, it was too late by then.

Xenia, ugh.
Xenia is nice, pretty and can overrun your tank.
Do yourself a favor, get rid of it.
Or, be prepared to keep it under control, which is near impossible to do once it takes off!

Wait till a piece floats off and gets sucked into a powerhead. Every microscopic piece of it will become a new colony.

LOL. Junkie is right about the blender propogation method. It took me 3 years to get all the zenia out of my tank. Almost as bad as GSP.
