Zoas and Marco Rock??

So I got some new dry rock form Marco Rocks to replace some of my algae overtaken live rock.. Now I am all into zoas right now. I live 'em..Plus they are really the only really colorful coral my Kessil A150 can easily handle.. Now after looking at the marco rock I noticed how much more "hole-y" it is than my live rock..will this be a problem? I have some coral epoxy so i can also "smooth" over some of the more "hole-y" areas...however, my thought is that the zoas will grow along the areas of the rock around the holes and stuff...is my thought process correct?

Thanks in advance!

Make sure the system is ready.
The more you wait for the rocks to have life the better for the zoas!!
Perhaps 6 months + with good coralline algae and looking nice!!
