Anyone think a small frag of Tubs zoas could make 1 1/2 days in a bag?? Just wondering because if so Im gonna buy them with 8 dollar shipping...otherwise its 30 for overnight. Im kinda thinking its a risk but is possible with the nice temps right now..just wondering what you guys think or if anyone has had experience with shipping them beyond overnight

I buy and ship 2 day all the time, I hardly ever have problems. I always ship 2 day with an ice pack during summer months.

I took my zoanthid tank down for a while to remodel the room it was in. I put everything in my 240 on frag racks and on the bottom in front. It was a pain trying to keep eveything healthy and things went pretty good untill my largest RBTA decided to move and got sucked into a seio 1500. I woke up one morning two weeks ago to a 240 gallon tank that looked like solid milk.
The anemone was almost 16" diameter with a foot that was 6" in diameter. What a mess.
Six 90 gasllon water changes and tons of carbon I saved most of the original tank, but about a 1/3 of my zoanthid/palys didn't.
Mostly the nice stuff. Just melted. Heck for the first 24 hours I could hardly see into the tank.
It was a bummer, but you better believe I got that zoanthid tank back up.

Bummer my man!! Shoot me a PM with your # and I will do the same with mine. I can mail you some frags to get you going again. good luck and it is nice to see you are still around!

What a awesome offer. Thank-you.

Oh even after a number of years, this is a learning experince for me. I saw the anemone moving slightly, but I just figured it would settle back into it's usual spot and never bothered to check on it later. I see that as my fault for not keeping a eye on it.

Anyway, on the original subject, I'm going in on a group buy that features 2nd day shipping, next week.
The difference is about $35 in shipping fees.
