ZOA's closing

My ZOA's always close up when my blue lights are on. I thought they were suppose to stay open. Are my blues not bright enough because I believe they are set to 30 percent at night after the whites go out. I'm not 100percent sure what kind of ZOA's they are I believe the guy said red blue.. Any ideas?

did you acclimate them properly to your lighting? how long since they have been introduced to the tank

Yeah I did they have been n little over a month...they fully open and look awesome when my day lights are on

wow i have just the opposite.....my zoas are fully open when blue lights are on,,,,and close when all light are on...maybe a few hours after not right away tho.....lol.....hmmmm so im just the oppiste.........

Lol IMA try to increase the % of my blues tonight..maybe from 30% to 40%?
