how do you make the color of zoanthids really come out, is there somewhere to place them or what to feed them?

I think alot of it has to do with lighting...

put them low in the tank. if they are to close to the light or if the light is to bright they will fade. if they have already faded in most cases the color will come back once you get them out of the bright light.

I didn't know that. I always sat my at the top thinking they liked being close to the light. Good tip

if they ststand tall out away from the rock they need more light. if they open and are not standing away from the rock, they are in enough light or maybe too much light. or just get some that have better colors. not all are made equal
