Zoas Irritated or dead

Hello everyone,

Are these zoas irritated? It shipped out on Monday (5:00 pm Central) delivered on Tuesday afternoon and they hasn't open. I do not think they are dead, more like irritated and stress. Your inputs much needed.

They look ok. Probably just irritated at being moved around so much. Did you dip and acclimate them prior to putting in your tank?

Thank you for a very quick response. It was a very slow process of acclimating

Just give them some time. I've had them open up within an hour I've had them take over a week.

What type if acclimation do u do? I just match temp n add to tank. Without added foreign water to my tank of course

I drip acclimated. Tank water to your coral with the water it came with. I do it for usually a half hour or so. Temp match and then add to tank. It's Also important to light a climate any new comers especially ones shipped by mail because they can very easily get light shocked.

Just give them some time. I've had them open up within an hour I've had them take over a week.

+1 same here. I have one that I got locally and the polyps opened within a few hours, then my urchin knocked it off its rock and took 4 days to open back up. Haha

Do keep up to date here on what's happening with it though. I'm very interested.
