zoas need much flow?

I have a 20 gallon setup with 2X 65 watt PCs, and an extra powerhead at my disposal (that'd make 2 in the tank) i was wondering if Zoos and rics need much flow and whether i should add this powerhead or not?

Zoas should have their polyps wiggled a little (IMO), but rics do not require much flow.

I have 20x turn over in my 90g tanks with 4 different ricordea flordea, a rock of ricordea flordea in my nano clocking in a 12x turn over, and I lost a few ricordea yuma in 8x turn over.

Had zoas in all three, all three of them grew them extreamly well when they were in there.

Imo, random flow is best. A surge tank would be best followed by random blasts as in Sqwd set up, which is what I use.

i have noticed increased growth in my tanks as i have increased flow; the zoas have been settled for a while, so i can't be sure the growth is directly caused by the up in flow

Random works well for me too.
