Hey Guys im new to the hobby and I just got a bunch of blue zoa from a friend and they are not opening they have been in the tank for almost a day now and they are not opening ? I got some others from him that have opened right up? Are these just because there different or what ? My PH 8.2 Alk 9 Calcium 490 phosphate 0.0

I don't think there is anything wrong with the blue zoas frag, they just need some more time to acclimate in your tank.

I got some blue zoa's from a friend.
I split them up, putting some high in the tank, some low.
By far, the lower ones did better.
When the higher ones closed up and looked miserable (bottom ones still looked great), I moved the higher ones down close to the lower ones.
It took almost a week for them to open up and look as nice as the lower ones.
In short, it may take days.
