zoe help (yes I looked at stickies)

Ok I looked through the stickies and can't find an answer to this. FYI if you have a zoe problem do this first. OK I have some zoes I ordered from someone on RC. I ordered 5 frags 3 have opened just fine but 2 haven't both frags have 5-10 polpys but now both are starting to get a white film like a powder almost covering them. I don't think its Pox since I have had that before this is more of one whole connected film not spots. It blows off with a powerhead easily. I also did a RO dip and a Coral RX dip before placement in my tank. What should I do? will it spread to my healthy zoes. I have them directly in front of a powerhead right now to keep them blown off but I havent wanted to move them for fear of stressing them I usually let new frags sit for at least 2 weeks. I have furan2 should I do that?

I would highly reccomend Furan2 dip, it sounds bacterial.

OK i will try that, what about peroxide will that help?

I havent tried peroxide, so cannot speak to that. I would whole heartidly reccomend a 3 day scheme of furan dips though.

Furan II is a good dip and won't harm the zoos. It might just be that your zoos are stressed from the shipping and maybe fragging. Low light low flow for now and let them acclimate to your tank.

I went and got some furan yesterday and was gonna do a dip today but they were mush as of this AM. Another lesson lived and learned. They were really cool looking too. On the website they called them Fruitloops but they were really bright.
