ok so i am a zoo and paly fanatic and i have a whole bunch. My question is starting this smorning i have colony of pink palys that is about the size of a fist maybe a little lareger. The colony started to close up little by little and the ones that were closes to the front of the tank began to shrivel and shrink one polyp is now covered with what looks like a brown fuzz. this all happened in a matter of hours. then i have some pretty pink zoos that just closed up. i tested my water parameters and the only thing that is slightly elevated is my nitrates and they are at 20 everything else is perfect and my calcium is at 400. my other zoos are fine and i have another large colony of snake paly's approximatly the same size that does not seem to be effected by anything either. the one thing i noticed is i did have a hydnophora coral that died and bleacked out could it have released some form of toxin into the tank? i have done a water change earlier this after noon waiting to see results any other suggestions??? fellow zooanthid overs?
