Uh oh Try some flatworm exit. There are several good threads stickied at the top of the zoanthid forum here on RC. With the high volume of zoanthids that LFS go through it is not suprising that you may have picked them up from one of those, they cannot dip everything that comes in unfortunately. You'll be able to beat the nudis, you just have to dip them and be religious about it.
agreed with above!
Do it at night after the polyps have closed and put some tincture in the FW dip. I prefer to use tap rather than RO as the PH is higher and it has chlorine in it...you want to kill bad things! It appears that you do not have a ton of zoos but I would still dip every 4 days for 5 minutes for the next 16 days--shake the sh&^ out of them after the dip so they all fall off.
Tincture can be found at Walgreens-if you have luglos that is also fine. I do about 25 drops per gal.
Also look for clear egg sacs that look like this @ except white/clear on the polyps. good luck!
If you are used to large adult nudis with their easy to see giant egg @ it will take time to get used to hunting small @ spirals. That is why a dipping routine is key. If oyu can't fidn the egss you have to kill them as they hatch.
Well after another day it seems that things are better than I originally thought.
I looked high and low for eggs and found none, and today only found one more actual nudi.(and it escaped :mad2: So hopefully a few more dips in the temp correct tap water for a couple of minutes every few days might end this sooner than later still gotta go find the Medicine/Iodine.
So hopefully the next dip is a little more gentle on them. Had the lighting on for a while today and a few actually popped out already but boy are those Zoas ****ed. So I figured that a days rest would be best after all and turned it off fairly early .
