Try to scrape those Aiptasia anemones from the plugs.

Also, it would be good to carefully dip them in Hydrogen peroxide to remove some of those nasty algae.
10% Hydrogen peroxide to 90% tank water for a minute to begin with, after scraping the majority of the algae from the plugs with a sharp knife.
Use gloves and goggles, and be careful with the knife.

I think its only one kind, but man do I have a lot. some are splitting too.
