Zoo Reproduction via Fission

After getting everything in my tank mad when I was rearranging stuff, I noticed this partially closed fissile pair of polyps. Pretty cool.

this is probably the 3rd time I've seen this happen. The other 2 times it was with a colony of green tentacled polyps, this is the first time I've seen it on another colony.
 
interesting , i think I have a zoa doint that very thing. I will try to get a pic when the lights are on tonight and see if it just isn't two zoas real close together.

My Blue Palythoa do it constantly.

I must have 10 on a colony of 100 or so doing it now. I feed them Mysis they gobble it up. Might be why.

Two of them are doing it in this picture. I took this right after i got the colony. I'll get a new one up later that shows a bunch of them.

I have a ppe polyp that looks to be in the process of splitting. Has anyone ever seen this before?
