i need to make some covers for my tank

I think your best bet for small netting is Bulk Reef Supply.They have some clear screen that doesn't obstruct much if any of your lighting.

Thanks Brian that's what i'm looking for like BRS sells but i don't
need a full piece so was hoping maybe one of the LFS might have
some.

I'm not aware of any LFS that sells it. The only thing I have found locally for smaller amounts is the stuff the hardware stores carry for windows and it blocks a lot of light.

Bird netting is sold at Lowe's and is used to keep birds/rabbits out of gardens. It is usually in the gardening section around where the outdoor pots and weed preventative sheets are sold by the roll. They have it by the roll and a small folded amount (either amount is way too much for what we would use it for but it is inexpensive. About $8 a roll. I saw it at the lowes on may and I-44 today so I know they have some. Its either 1/2 or 3/4 not sure which. I use it doubled between a window screen frame. It blocks no light that way.

I have the brs clear mesh but not enough for that unfortunately.
