Just picked up a Little gold maxima, will i need to feed the tank phyto? I really don't want to, but if its necessary i will... I've kept a 2 inch crocea going on 8 months without adding any phyto just good light and good water parameters, it always has new growth on its shell.

I had one that was smaller than that and to grew to almost 3in and never gave it any food. just strong light and fish poo..i lost it after i put a blenny in the tank that i thought would not bother it

I also started feeding cyclops once or twice a week a night time for my sps corals, will the clam benefit from cyclops? or are they to big?

Cyclops is too large for the clam to ingest, though zooplankton is a part of their diet (minor). Cyclops will benefit your clam indirectly as other organisms consume it and contribute to organic matter in the water column.
