1 store closed & a new store opened

Aqua Touch is now closed but 2 miles north a new store Southwest Seas is open. They are on the north side of Greenway Road by 29 St. The owner has been in the service part of the trade for probably 20 years.

Kona flocks to that area since the news about aquatouch 6-12 months ago! now southwest seas goes retail. Hopefully Mark isnt as flakey as he's been before and run a sucessful retail store. Sad to see AT go, but great to see that area grow.

I really liked Kona before the move and the new shop is really nice as well. Probably the best fresh/marine combo store in the valley right now. I'll have to check out Sothwest Seas, never heard of them before this thread.

Is Aquatouch closed for good or, are they just remolding? I noticed on their Facebook page they say they are "working on some remodeling efforts in the store over the next few weeks". But then also suggest you to their visitors they go visit Southwest Seas...

Kona is nice and has a nice selection of fish and corals. Worth the drive from Goodyear.
