does anyone here have the tools to easily drill a 1" bulkhead? What i thought was my hookup is only for 3/4" not enough flow !

If all else fails, i could put two 3/4" in
thanks!

Hmmm...$10 shipped for a hole saw or $20 and the gas to drive to SoM...

Seems like a tough choice to me too. ;)

Not sure where you came up with$20. I paid $18 total for the hole to be cut and bulkhead. Anyway, just a suggestion. I know I felt more comfortable having a guy who has drilled hundreds of tanks do it versus me who has drilled zero...

$18...$20...Looks like I rounded it off.

And even Hung started with 1 tank.

Look, I am not challenging your desire to have it done by someone who has done it before. There is nothing wrong with that. Just weighing the options though, I think spending a couple of bucks on a piece of glass from the local hardware store, making about 5 practice drills will be plenty of practice. Then once you have successfully drilled your own tank, you have a skill and commodity that becomes pretty sought after.

Maybe my thought process is different but I factor in things like the 2 hours round trip that I will have to drive (If I lived in the QC and went to Hung's) plus how easy it really is to do it yourself.

Again, it wasn't meant as a challenge to what you did. It was meant simply as a weigh your options and future plans before you do anything.
