10" acrylic saw blade?

Are any of the 10" thin kerf 80 to 94 tooth saw blades suitable for cutting acrylic from Home Depot? They have a Diablo and a Rigid blade. Was wondering if anyone had any recommendations?

reefkeeping.com article recommended freud LU-97-10 but Mcfeely's no longer carries it and I bet it's just not made anymore.

Close. It's not the same. The one reefkeeping listed is slightly different.

A Freud LU-94-10 saw blade works very well for cutting acrylic, it has a triple chip grind, 3-degree hook and .110" kerf. McFeely's* carries the Freud LU-94-10 for $69.50.

Do you think the one you found would work too? Is there a cheaper alternative?

I like it! Free shipping too. I'm looking for a better blade because my cuts aren't very clean. I end up sanding a lot to get a smoother edge.

I've made a few DIY items so far. A couple of media reactors, DJ88's calcium reactor, and a fish trap so far. I may make a large square skimmer and my version of a kalkenstein.

I believe you route all cuts after they are rough cut on a saw. I don't think many blades five you a smooth cut on the first pass.

Yes you should be routing afterwords. Honestly, I've found just about any decent blade will get you that "good enough" cut to prep it for routing. Anything acrylic/plastic specific will certainly help, but isn't fully necessary.
