Hey guys! Sorry its taken me so long to respond! Just been a little busy the past couple days!
@The Reef Addict Glad to hear that about the nem! Yeah I've heard of things like that happening with fine sand, especially in a small tank! Yeah I've heard that bio filter are the main filters in a reef tank! That's awesome that it cycled so quickly and so far that's the only real upkeep you've had to do recently! Hope it keeps working well for you!
@CStrickland So you guys are saying definitely no clowns! Not even the smaller ones? I'm just curious because I swear that I've seen them in small tanks on tons of videos, sites, and forums. I have heard of getting a watchman goby and a pistol shrimp, but am a little nervous about doing that because I want the tank to look like it has life in it and these options are generally bottom fish! I just love the motion of a fish tank! I know that with this size tank, I can't have much motion, but I need at least something!
@cheucklate You're probably right about the housing department saying no! And I agree that they probably wouldn't notice the difference either! That's a pretty good excuse, but I doubt that that would work in my case though! I didn't even realize that it would be a 40% increase, but that really does make a difference in such a small tank! I've checked my local craigslist, but it doesnt seem like there are a lot/any ones around here! Do you know of any other brand that would be cheaper, but would still be worth the money? Or do you know of any other site or company that sells cheap biocubes/tanks?
