100 Gallon Starphire Rimless BUILD THREAD!

Hey guys and gals here is a build thread for my new 100g rimless tank I will be setting up next month.

Bare with me as I go through moving from my parents house into a condo. I am currently acquiring equipment for my tank so when I move into my condo I can set this tank up as a centerpiece of my livingroom.

Heres some of the Equipment Ive got for the tank
Feel free to critique on what I have, I want a good quality tank that is mostly self sufficient.

Tank:100g Starphire rimless aquarium with corner overflow

Stand: Custom made Oak stand by me

Lighting: Probably 2 Ecotech Radions

Skimmer: Reef Octopus NWB-200

Movement: 2X Mp40W

Return Pump: Ehiem 1262

Controller: Full Apex with WXM module

ATO: Tunze Osomolator 3155

Dosing: 2X BRS Dosing Pumps

Reactor: BRS Dual Reactor running Carbon+GFO

Heater: 2X Via Aqua 200W Titanium Heaters

If your going to spend the $$$ for the radions maybe look into vertex illuminas.

I looked into them and they made radions seem inexpensive, 2700 for a 4 foot fixture????

Wow, I haven't checkd prices on them for a year or so! That's pretty pricey!
I just have the 12 inch fixture over my 24x24 cube. They don't have optics so they suggest a fixture one foot shorter than the tank.

Still the 3 foot is about 2300, and wouldnt even give me all the spead that two radions would for 1098, brand new shipped to my door

may I ask why you toward radions than AI? I cannot make up my decision among these two.

If you are in to DIY you could get a kit from rapid for half what the radions will cost you.

I like the idea of ai and controlling them with apex but with the new apex fusion you'll be able to control radions also, plus I would need more ai fixtures for the same coverage of two radions. I've haven't seen AIs in person other than the sol blues and wasn't that impressed. The radions I've seen we're amazing, plus the sleekness of design over a 100g would be great!

To make things look better cosmetically I think I'd rather pay for the radions

That's an impressive list of equipment. Look forward to seeing the build. Have you had an all LED tank before? I started with all LED and had great growth, but now have an led and t5 combo which I like much better.

I like the growth on my all led 75, never had t5 led mixed

Well guys here's a little bit of an update
Still haven't moved but I have decided on what lighting I am purchasing, after hours and hours of research and looking at tanks and par readings and growth shots I have decided I go with the ATI T5/LED Powermodule!!
A guy is selling one that is only 3 months old, warranty is transferable and comes with a few extra bulbs!
I'm so excited to receive this light! From what people say it looks top notch

Tanks done, was built by a company in LA
