1073.02 Recirc Pump ?

I have a 1073.02 Recirc pump that I noticed has some of the cord insulation missing at the entrance to the pump like it came apart and now is exposing the black and white wire. Has anyone had this issue and if so what's the best way to fix it?

I do not believe there is any safe way to fix it other than replacing the motor. Roger will be back on Monday. Do you know how old it is?

It's around a year or so old with little run time on the pump.

Please send in the pump with a receipt, if it is less than 2 years since it was purchased it would be replaced under warranty. As Shawn said, this should not be repaired.
