1073.030 recirculation pump reef safe?

I'm a resident in the United Kingdom and i think i maybe one of the first people to try the 3000lph recirculation pump.
These have been ordered for a new reef system however when they arrived it quickly became apparent that each pump uses 4 metal screws to hold the front panel on.

does this make them unsafe for internal use in a saltwater tank?

has anyone experience with these pumps in the long term that can tell me how they found them,

so far im happy with the build quality and design just itching to find out how they perform.

thanks for your help.

No, the screws are stainless steel and when completely submerged their will be no corrosion.

roger, is the headpressure rating on marine depot true? 40' head ft pressure? how many PSI does the 3800GPH one run? if that thing is pressure rated that would be intense..

I think you mean the 1073.14? I don't know the psi it produces but yes it can pump very high. I will try to find a flow chart later.
